Ryder Cup and Olympics Experience near Paris.

“The Calm before the Storm” (literally) … we played the Albatross last October 5^th the last day available before the Open de France which will take place in a week where a storm will be all along France and looks like the golf will be wet which intrigues me if it will make it easier or tougher for the Pros as fairways will not roll, probably preferred lies but thick rough will be wet and way tougher to get out of it and find golf balls.

We’ve all seen this course, and it will get even more exposure when the Olympic role on to Paris next year.

Most has been written about this course above and below, Nice Stadium course with IMO the best holes having water in front especially 13,16,18.

I have just completed a tour from Paris to Nice with 16 Australian golfers – mostly sailing down the Rhone and Saone Rivers - and we chose 7 courses to play, based upon their positioning in the Top 100 Course Rankings.

I have for 2 decades been coming to Paris to visit Family.

Played the albatross in April of and i was desperate to play the current ryder cup course having known nothing about it previously.

I played here with my father in December 2017.

The 2018 Ryder Cup layout was the last of ten courses that I visited on a recent trip to France.

The course is in great condition due to Ryder Cup preparation.
