Located on the heights of Huy, the Martin Hawtree-designed golf complex at Naxhelet Golf Club extends to thirty holes: an 18-hole championship-standard course, a 9-hole pitch-and-putt layout and a 3-hole circuit devoted to the club’s golf academy.
Stretching to 6,274 metres from the tips, the main 18-hole course at Naxhelet plays to a par of 72, with holes laid out across a gently undulating landscape as two returning nines. Water comes into play at several holes on the back nine, most notably between the 11th and 12th fairways and around the greens on the last two holes.
Highlight holes include short par fours at the right doglegging 5th and 304-metre 16th, where out of bounds lurks along the right side of the fairway. The round concludes with a strong par four finishing hole which plays to a home green that’s protected by sand to the left and water to the right of the putting surface.
