New Kuta Golf

In 2007, the Golfplan's stunning New Kuta 18-hole course occupies the most stunning cliff top spot in Bali's southwest coast, high above the crashing waves of Indian Ocean. The front nine is played away from the edge of the water before heading into hills before the back nine is back to white limestone hills that line the coastline.

The most memorable hole in the first nine on this course is the par three hole of 192 yards which is played to an island green, which is surrounded by a single bunker that covers the entire putt surface.

In the second ninety, players are confronted with themselves with their very own Balinese variant of "Amen Corner" on holes 14 through 16 that are laid out along the coast above the coral reefs in Balangan Bay, with the short 15th being considered to be the hole that is the most famous of the golf card.

The quality of layout in New Kuta, it hosted the Indonesia Open in 2009 (an event jointly sanctioned by and the Asian Tour and the European Tour) and the Ladies Indonesia Open the following year.
