This very tight, tree-lined layout measures almost 7,000 yards from the back tees, playing to a par of 72, with holes arranged as two returning nines. Highlights on the outward half include the first of the par threes at the 205-yard 3rd (with a large bunker to the left of a triangular-shaped green); the left doglegging par four 6th (with out of bounds to the right of the hole); and the par four 9th which narrows considerably as it reaches the green.

Among the more notable holes on the inward half, there’s the left doglegging par four 13th (stroke index 2) which plays to a heavily bunkered green. There’s also the par four 15th (with a couple of large bunkers positioned on the right side of the fairway) and the par four 18th playing parallel to the 9th as it heads towards an offset home green that’s defended by a large bunker to the front left of the putting surface.

World Top 100 Golf Courses

The latest ranking of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World serves as the ultimate global golf bucket list. Most members of our World Top 100 Panel are seasoned golfers, each playing 20-30 of these courses annually while travelling extensively over decades to form their opinions on others. We recognise that opinions vary—even among our panel members. Rankings are subjective, and there are undoubtedly 50 or more courses in the UK and USA alone that could easily fit onto this list.
