Noordwijkse Golf Club

This was the second of our four course Dutch golf trip and a huge difference from the Royal Hague which we’ had played the day before .

This is undoubtedly the closest to a regular UK links, even more so than Royal Hague.

Any golfing tour of Netherlands must include this course.

After bad weather for much of the day, we got very lucky with a fine July evening for a quick 18 at Noordwijk.

Noordwijkse has it all.

Noordwijkse was my first stop of a 3 days and 5 WALKING rounds in Amsterdam invited by my good friend DD after 3 rounds in Spain and 6 in Portugal in 8 days.

I was really excited about playing on a course that sits in amongst some of the most spectacular sand dunes in Europe if not the World, the land is perfect for an unbelievable course.

Noordwijkse Golf Club receives the award for the greatest missed opportunity in The Netherlands.

Without doubt Noordwijk has the most natural piece of land of all the courses I played in Holland.

Noordwijkse was the first of eight courses that I played last week on a short visit to the Netherlands and it established a very high standard for the trip.
