Nordcenter Golf & Country Club is a contemporary 36-hole complex which is located close to Pohja, an hour’s drive to the northeast of Helsinki.
The two courses at Nordcenter Golf Club, which was founded in 1988, are named after their respective American architects, Ronald Fream and Bradford Benz. The Fream layout is the elder course which is rather open and hilly but the newer course, fashioned by Californian Bradford Benz is the better of the two layouts.
The Benz layout is routed around six lakes which come into play on ten holes. The course tempts the big hitters to open their shoulders with wide, expansive fairways, fringed here and there by stands of trees.
Nordcenter is a really friendly club that warmly welcomes visitors so if you are looking for great golf and a Finnish treat in the wonderful club restaurant, look no further than Nordcenter Golf & Country Club.
