Designed by Les Furber, Northlands Golf Course was unveiled in 1997. The layout sits on the edge of Mountain Forest in the District of North Vancouver and it’s particularly challenging on the back nine, where Thomas Creek comes into play.

Owned and operated by the local municipal authority, this pay and play facility is set out as two returning nines, with water coming into play at several holes, starting at the par four 1st, where the fairway eases past a small pond as it doglegs left to the opening green. The back nine also begins with a water-laden par four; this time there’s a rock-lined pond protecting the green on three sides.

Other notable holes on this 120-acre property include both the short holes on the outward half at the 177-yard 3rd and 220-yard 8th; the short par four 13th in the southeast corner of the layout; and the final two holes on the card which are configured as tough back-to-back par fives at the 17th and 18th.
