Situated just outside Broken Arrow, The Golf Club of Oklahoma’s course is a Tom Fazio design that’s laid out in heavily wooded terrain, with several of the fairways routed around the sparkling waters of Lake Kadashan. First time visitors might feel the playing corridors are a little narrow in places but there’s really more room than might first appear.
There are plenty of holes of note on this engaging track: on the front nine, the 376-yard 6th plays to a water-protected green and the 575-yard 8th crosses a gorge en route to the target. On the stronger back nine, the 451-yard 11th is protected by a large fairway bunker on its right flank, whilst the 421-yard 16th demands a carry across the sparkling waters of a small lake from the tee.
