Ombria Golf Course
It was developed by Pontos, which is a Finnish investment firm founded by Pontos, a Finnish investment company Ombria resort is situated near the town of Loule which is just a half hour's drive to the north of Faro airport. Alongside the 18-hole golf course that was created by Jorge Santana da Silva, the resort is a five-star hotel that has 141 guestrooms, residences and suites and more than 300 villas and apartments.
It measures 5,800m from back tees. The course is played with a par of (36 out, 35 in) and the holes are laid out in two nines that return. Holes 1-9 are set out within a narrow valley that is located along an east-west axis and holes 10-18 are located on separate properties to the south of the housing hub.
The holes that stand out on the outside portion include back-to-back par threes on the 5th and 4th holes and the 9th, a par four (rated stroke index one) which doglegs to an edifice in the path to the green. On the inward side the 12th hole is an incredibly difficult to break (rated stroke index 2.) however, a missed shot on that hole will be recovered on the short par four downhill 18th.
