Otley Golf Club was formed in 1906, with the golf course (designed by Shipley professional Harry Loveridge) opening a year later, on 28th September 1907. In the mid-1960s, the clubhouse was relocated to the middle of the 100-acre layout, resulting in a resequencing of the holes.

Otley

Otley Golf Club was formed in 1906. The layout (designed by Shipley professional Harry Loveridge) opening a year later, on the 28th September 1907. The mid-1960s saw the clubhouse was moved in the middle of the layout's 100 acres and resulted in a new sequence of holes.

Today, the course extends to 6,275 yards from back tees. The course plays up to a par 70 (36 out and 34 in) The holes are laid out in two nines that return. There aren't any Par fives in the short back nine that has two par threes on both the 17th and 15th.

The highlights on the first nine are the very first in the series of par threes on 180-yard second (where there are no less than seven bunkers protect the green) as well as the challenging holes for par fives on the 6th, 487 yards and 502-yard 8th. there is a Gill Beck cuts across the green's front at both holes.

On the back nine, which is shorter the water course is in play on 11, the Par 4 hole and the par three 15, with the greens on both holes guarded by the winding Mickle Ing Bech which runs across the fairway ahead of the two the putting surfaces.
