Pablo Creek Club
The Pablo Creek Club is set adjacent to the exclusive, gated Pablo Creek Reserve in Florida, an exclusive 400-acre gated community located a couple miles to the west of Ponte Vedra Beach close to the Intracoastal Waterway. Unsurprisingly, Pablo Creek is an intensely private club, so you’ll need to befriend a member to play this challenging 7,000-yard Tom Fazio design.
Opened for play in 1996, Pablo Creek is fashioned around a series of water hazards where you’ll need to keep a watchful eye on the alligators if your long game is wayward. Pablo Creek itself is one of Jacksonville’s most prized and unique features. Unlike all other creeks – which connect into the Intracoastal Waterway – Pablo Creek has more than its fair share of fresh water which allows for an eclectic mix of plant life along its shores.
Getting a game on Pablo Creek’s Bermuda playing surfaces may be a tricky proposition, but if all else fails you can take a boat ride along the creek and go fishing along one of Florida’s most fascinating stretches of water.
