Palm Springs (Resort & Island)
Situated 14 kilometres north of Hang Nadim airport, overlooking the Singapore Strait, the golf complex at Palm Springs Golf & Beach Resort features three 9-hole circuits, named Island, Palm and Resort.
Owned by Sinarmas Land, Jakarta, one of the largest corporate groups in Indonesia, the golf facility started out as the Talvas Golf & Country Club in 1989, with the initial nine holes of the Palm course carved from an old mangrove swamp.
The other two nines were added during a new millennium upgrade in 2002 when the 27-hole Palm Springs Golf & Beach Resort was established but we understand the latest plan at the end of 2015 was to reduce the golfing element on the Nuvasa Bay site to eighteen holes.
