Of the three courses we were scheduled to play, I was most curious to see Palmetto as it sounded like many of the under the radar gems I’ve come to love (Somerset, Essex, etc.

Oh boy, what a treat!

The sections of heavy railroad track that serve as Palmetto’s tee markers let you know immediately that you’re in for an unusual experience.

Palmetto is a very special place, a well-run GOLF club.

Palmetto’s rhythm and variety are delightful.

Palmetto may well of been the biggest surprise of 2018 for me.

I played this course during the last US Masters Week and although I have heard/read how good it was, I have to say my impression was even better than expected.
