If you are a student of the design aspect of golf courses this is a must to visit. Overall, it is very enjoyable to play and this despite some serious neglect as to the course heritage. The par 3 15th is one of the best par 3's that I have ever seen in playing over 1000 golf courses, it certainly needs some restoration to make that apparent to those less experienced in design, but the course must be visited for this hole alone. There are a few somewhat routine almost mundane holes but not truly bad ones. Some tree work and turf work allied with love would bring Seve's childhood course back to a level that anyone would appreciate it as great. As for now, it is a bit hidden gem even though ranked.
