Pickala is the largest golf facility in Finland with three 18-hole courses and a short 9-hole par three layout. Reijo Hillberg, who also laid out Pickala’s Seaside track, designed the Park course. The Seaside course was first to arrive in 1987, followed four years later by the Park. Jan Sederholm then set out the Forest layout in 2004.

The Park course can be extended to just over 6,100 metres from the championship tees, playing to a par of 72, with holes arranged as two returning nines, Water comes into play at several holes, most notably at the par four 2nd (where a creek crosses the fairway in front of the green) and the par four 18th, with a small pond protecting the front right of the home green.

Other notable holes include the right doglegging 1st (with four bunkers guarding the putting surface) and the very tight, straight as an arrow, short par four 17th which narrows to next to nothing in front of the green – avoid the trees at all costs here or your round might end in disaster.
