Great course and well worth the pricey green fee. In my opinion, there are no real stand-out holes but eighteen huge tests of every shot in a golfer's armoury. The crown greens are rapid and very difficult to approach from most angles! Some tricky pin positions mean you can expect to go 'over' the green quite a few times. The one disappointment about the Pinehurst experience was the poor range - well-worn, overcrowded and not at all in keeping with the rest of the resort. If you appreciate the finer points of golf architecture and want to experience the challenges of a Donald Ross course, look no further.
