What could you say about this wonderful course that has not been said before. It looked both magnificent and terrifying on tv at the US Open and the tv told no lies. It must be the biggest test in golf for approach and short game play. It would take a far better golfer than me to not to fall foul of some of the slopes running off greens and into bunkers. Isn't that part of why we go? To see the steepness and slopes of these greens and be beaten up like most of the pros on tv.
The village is lovely, the setting is beautiful and course no. 2 is just sublime!! But don't ask me to try and make a score!!!
