Golf week visit, course is OK not sure 9hrs driving and playing was worth the effort, good layout with OK greens not quick or slow.

I would expect them to be awesome for a flag ship golf week showcasing the course. range balls the dog has been playing with for 10 years (save your money) a disappointing visit. £30 was about right for 18 holes.

An enjoyable course with a nice variety of par 3s and 5s and water in play on a number of holes but we felt it was let down by the conditioning.

We got what I felt was a good stay and play deal of £110 each, one round on the Codrington and twin room in the lodges on site.On arrival I found the pro very welcoming and obviously proud of the course. He said we could play from the Black (championship) tees but recommended we play from the Whites...

We played off the yellows on a hot day and it didn’t feel as though the course was long at all.

A lot of the holes were better to play irons off the tee due to the run off areas, thick rough and blind holes. It became easy to lose your ball with a relatively accurate 250+ yard shot. The par 3’s all look brilliant and are all interesting to the eye, they’re the stand-outs for this course.

I have played the Players a few times over the years, and indeed was a member briefly to use the practice facilities which for me are the biggest plus.

in my opinion this is a good example of a well done modern course.

Ok its not going to challenge the top100 but its contstantly being improved and is usually in very good condition. The course can play long, but choose the right tees and there is no reason for it to be overwhelming.
