Prestige Golfshire
Designed by Bob Hunt from PGA Design Consulting and managed by Troon Golf, the semi-private resort course at Prestige Golfshire is the central element of an upmarket residential development that’s located within a 275-acre Nandi Hills property, half an hour’s drive north of Kempegowda International Airport.
Measuring just over 7,000 yards from the back markers, the 18-hole layout is configured as two returning nines, with fairways routed around small clusters of housing. Holes also weave their way around half a dozen small lakes that were created during construction to provide material for some movement in an otherwise flat landscape.
Highlight holes include the par five 3rd, rated stroke index 1, which veers to the green past a large bunker on the left (with a tree in the middle of this hazard) and back-to-back short par fours at holes 7 and 8. On the back nine, the heavily-bunkered 13th is a tough hole, double doglegging towards a green that’s protected by a creek in front of the putting surface.
