Priddis Greens (Raven)
Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club was established in 1983 and within two years there was an 18-hole Bill Newis-designed layout in play. A third nine from the same architect was added in 1992 to complete the Raven 18-hole course.
In 2003, Gary Browning modified original Bill Newis plans for a fourth nine, with these new holes completing the 18-hole Hawk course at what was now a 36-hole golf facility.
Six years later, the club hosted the Canadian Women’s Open, using the back nine of the Raven as the back nine for the composite competition course.
Today, the Raven extends to 6,875 yards from the back markers, playing to a par of 72. Feature holes include the 429-yard 2nd and 437-yard 13th (the toughest two par fours on the card), along with the par three 3rd and 15th, requiring tee shot carries over water to the green on both holes.
