Fantastic! What a venue. As soon as you wind your way round the driveway and catch a glimpse at the incredibly impressive club house you know you are in for a treat. The range is right next to the first tee box at the Old, it only extends to 200 yards or so so but good enough to get your swing going. The condition of the course was brilliant, the definition on the green aprons was class. Greens were true and firm. I haven't played the other course at RAC yet but my playing partner who is a member there said its more up and down then its sister course, it certainly is an entertaining course, several slight dog legs and blind tee shots down hill adds to the enjoyment. The course is also quite forgiving being quite open and the long rough being cut right down. A super venue and great course, can't wait to go back.
