Real Campoamor

The course at the Real Club de Golf Campoamor Resort was inaugurated in 1988 by H.R.H. Don Juan de Borbón, Count of Barcelona. Since then, a tournament bearing his name is played for on an annual basis every summer.

The resort is located just a short 20-minute drive south of Torrevieja, with two 4-star hotels on site offering 93 rooms for visiting golfers who can also enjoy the use of tennis courts, swimming pools, a wellness centre and gymnasium.

The 18-hole golf course extends to 6,277 metres, playing to a par of 72, and holes are set out as two returning 9-hole circuits, both of which start with a par five. There are a few small ponds on the property but none of them come directly into play.

Highlight holes include both the heavily bunkered par threes on the front nine at the 4th and 6th, along with the right doglegging par five 12th and demanding par five 18th (rated stroke index 4) on the back nine.
