Real San Sebastian Basozabal

Designed by José María Olazábal, the course at Real Nuevo Club de Golf San Sebastian Basozabal was constructed in two phases, with a couple of lakes now coming into play (between holes 3 and 9 then holes 13 and 15) on both nines.

The club is situated 7 kilometres south of San Sebastian, next to the intersection of the AP-1 and AP-15 highways so it’s in a very accessible location. Measuring 6,478 metres from the back tees, the course plays to a par of 72, with holes arranged as two retuning nines.

Notable holes include the par four 3rd (with the green defended by water to the front left of the putting surface); the long, right doglegging par four 15th (with a bunker guarding the front right of the green); and the uphill 18th, played to a heavily sand-protected home green.
