Played Reay on what was possibly one of those days when fortunately the wind didn't blow too hard! Totally exposed to the North Sea and offered very little protection from the elements the Course offers up a very fair challenge from start to finish. The 1st hole doesn't provide the most friendly of welcomes at over 200 yards and into the prevailing wind and is one of a few very strong Par 3's on the course. A stretch of holes on both 9's that zig zag back and forth are the only let down for me on what is a fun and challenging course given it's low Course Rating. The friendly welcome in the Clubhouse is a true example of highland hospitality that a few others would do well to copy.
