My Society payed the course last Friday 28th July.
After a warm welcome by the staff and a first-class breakfast, we played 18 holes.
The condition of the course was great, the greens 'slopy', but fair, and the rough exactly as it should be - harsh if you strayed there, but it was always possible to find one's ball.
After playing we enjoyed another excellent food service and a few drinks in the bar.
I have already been asked by my Society members to enquire about booking again for 2024
The latest ranking of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World serves as the ultimate global golf bucket list. Most members of our World Top 100 Panel are seasoned golfers, each playing 20-30 of these courses annually while travelling extensively over decades to form their opinions on others. We recognise that opinions vary—even among our panel members. Rankings are subjective, and there are undoubtedly 50 or more courses in the UK and USA alone that could easily fit onto this list.
