The tree-lined fairways of the 18-hole layout at Reunion Golf & Country Club are an integral component of a residential development on the old Annandale Plantation, located a mere 15-minute drive from the small town of Madison.
The layout was designed by Bob Cupp and unveiled in 2004, with its majestic pine and oak tree-lined fairways routed around a rolling property that also features a number of water hazards and large areas of native vegetation to preserve the habitat of the local wildlife.
Measuring a mighty 7,416 yards from the
tips, Reunion can be set up as a very stern test of golf. Feature
holes include the 471-yard 7th which is rated stroke index 1 and
plays to a two-tiered green; a couple of demanding back-to back par
fives at the 9th and 10th; and the 640-yard uphill 17th, where cross
bunkers and a sloping green conspire to protect par.
