Rigeneé
Golf Rigenee was founded in 1981, and a year later there were 18 holes in play across an agricultural land comprising 135 acres. In 1984 and 1985, more than 30000 trees were planted in order to create a defined fairway and also partially block the view of the external world around the boundaries of the land. Hole 9 as well as 11 were remodeled in 2006, and the 13th was completely remodeled eight years later.
The course was designed created by Paul Rolin, the course is set on a fairly smooth terrain. It is a total length of 6,402 metres starting from the back markers. Par is established at 73 (36 out, 37 inches). Water is introduced at only a handful of holes, with the most notable being on the right side of the green on the 7th hole, which is 178 metres long and just to the left of the putting surface on the 14th, which measures 163 metres.
Highlights include the opening sequence of four par fours, one of the five par five holes, which is no boundaries to the left in the 502-metre 5th hole; the challenging, left doglegging par four 10th, which is located at the farthest location from the clubhouse back-to-back par fives at holes 15, 16 and the unique closing par three 18th that is played uphill until the green at home.
