Royal Blackheath Golf Club

This ancient course has had a chequered history and until 1926 held a number of names and others who played here

Undoubtedly the museum if you love history of golf is worth seeing on its own

The course is much better than several years ago with loads of tree removals and plays a little bit more heathland in places

The ditches are both annoying and tricky .

The oldest golf course in England, Royal Blackheath, has supposedly been around since 1608.

Royal Blackheath Golf Club offers a truly memorable and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

I thought the layout was pretty good and the updates done in 2019 make all the difference in the appearance.

Making a review of Royal Blackheath as a golf course only and not including the experience I was able to take part of would be extremely unfair although in my rating it will be the Golf Course.

Great changes being made to course, greens in immaculate condition, reaching stimp readings of 12 making them not just hard but extremely enjoyable to play.

Beautiful club house and a lot of history with Royal Blackheath.

Brilliant Course in great condition.

A lot of work has gone into updating the course and it’s starting to pay off.

My son took me on an emotional trip down memory lane at RBGC today.
