I can see that for those living in London and wanting to escape for a few hours to play some golf this place is ideal, but if you are looking for a good 'test' of golf then you will feel some what disappointed. The course is very flat and starts of with a par 3 (something I not a big fan of) but it never really gets going and although the course has a lot of history you do feel that everything is crammed in. I used my driver twice and even then you I didn't need it, but a round of golf without hitting a driver is a bit dull. There are one or two nice holes but nothing really memorable and I may have enjoyed it more had it not been directly under the flight path and literally every 2 mins a plane flies over, not that peaceful after a hard week at work. All in all a good place to play if you live in town but for only a further 20 mins in the car you reach the surrey sand belt with lots and lots of wonderful courses.
