There’s little more to be said about this outstanding course that’s not already been covered.

This course takes no mercy, it’s a monster with some fantastic holes, 1 - 4 stretch was my favourite.

Having played the other neighbouring courses you can see why this is still on The Open rota as it’s a vast, undulated expanse of land which the others don’t have. The starter was fantastic and super friendly.

What an incredible experience!

I was fortunate to be able to play five rounds in three days and stay in the dormy house as well.

Took a train ride on a nice November day back in 2015 from London to Sandwich and played Royal St George's and to this day I still remember the experience as being one of the best golf days ever.

Nicest people you would ever want meet, from pro shop (Set me up with a great set of Calaway clubs) to the locker room.
