Forgettable.

And I mean that. Long boring holes. The stretch of 7-12 is excellent. But the start and finish are completely forgettable, flat long holes with limited character. The fact that this is on the Open rota and Turnberry is not is a shame.

Hadn’t played before and the reviews are so so. Loved the course! Super fun and great condition. The clubhouse staff was exceptionally welcoming and spent significant time giving us a history of ancient clubs and other relics. Must play!!

The middle is where the course is the most challenging and fun. The history of this course, the quality of this course and the friendliness of all staff was just superb! The wind is tough when it gets up but I loved it! I dread to think how many bunkers this course has but they are deep and tough. If you get a chance to play here it’s a MUST play.
