I recently played San Andres Golf Club. This is a classic 1907 Mungo Park layout with perfectly maintained bermuda fairways. Its traditionally tough rough is now cut shorter than in the past, but you still want to avoid it. With an accurate driver, birdie opportunities will be plenty. Overseeded Paspalum greens are in good condtion but relatively slow. The trees on property are maginificent, however they are spots where these are overgrown and negate strategy. The design of the green complex for #2 and #5 is very interesting. Holes 1, 9 and the finishing stretch of 15-18 are the highlights. Overall San Andres is a very enjoyable course, a Top 10 in Argentina.
