The summer season starts in May and continues until the start of October. Reindeer roam freely on the course – and you’ll also find reindeer sausages on the menu at the halfway house by the 11th tee! In June and July, you can play around the clock as the sun doesn’t set during those summer months.
Measuring 5,960 metres from the back markers, the course is configured as an out and back layout with par set at 36 for the outward half then 35 for the inward half. Water only comes into play on a couple of holes, thanks to the pond located between the par five 1st and par four 17th fairways.
Notable holes include the shot par three 2nd (played uphill to a blind green); the gently downhill, left doglegging par four 7th (rated stroke index 1); the last of the par fives at the 502-metre 12th; and the long, downhill par three 18th, with out of bounds to the left of the fairway.
