Santa Maria - Panama

The resort-style course at Santa Maria Golf & Country Club is located within a gated residential community, where members can indulge in other sporting activities such as tennis and padel.

Although largely constructed in 2012, this 18-hole layout didn’t officially open until an on-site hotel was completed six years later, when a grand opening took place in April 2018.

Measuring 7,153 yards from the tips, the course plays to a par of 72, with holes arranged as two returning nines. Water hazards feature at more than half the holes, most notably between the 5th and 7th then the 10th to 12th.

Highlights include the par five 2nd (with water to the right and out of bounds to the left); the longest of the par threes at the 14th (played to an offset green with sand fronting the left side); and the long par four 18th, where more water lies to the left of the fairway.
