The layout extends to just under 5,800 metres from the regular tees, playing to a par of 72, with holes arranged as returning nines. Water comes into play at almost half the holes in the shape of little ponds that threaten either the tee shot to the side of the fairway or the approach shot to the green.
“Signature hole” contenders include the first (and longest) of the par threes at the 4th, where a pond lurks front left of the green and bunkers provide further protection either side of the putting surface. The par four holes at #10 and #11 are routed along the edge of the lake, getting the back nine off to a very scenic start.
