The highlight of our week in the Sedona area was a round at Seven Canyons Golf Club. We had heard great things about the course, but the breathtaking backdrop of the Sedona Red Rock Canyons exceeded all expectations.
The practice facility, while a bit of a distance from the clubhouse. The staff were very helpful leading the way. The course, designed by Weiskopf & Kavanaugh, is beautifully laid out in the canyon basin, featuring just enough elevation changes to keep things interesting while still being walkable.
The greens presented a real challenge, especially on the 6th and 9th holes, where I had to putt off the green just to get close to the hole.
After an amazing round, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner at the clubhouse before heading up to Rachel’s Knoll for a truly spectacular view.

The latest ranking of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World serves as the ultimate global golf bucket list. Most members of our World Top 100 Panel are seasoned golfers, each playing 20-30 of these courses annually while travelling extensively over decades to form their opinions on others. We recognise that opinions vary—even among our panel members. Rankings are subjective, and there are undoubtedly 50 or more courses in the UK and USA alone that could easily fit onto this list.
