The spectacular Rocky Mountain setting of Les Furber’s SilverTip Resort course – where fairways rise and fall through 600 feet of elevation change – is second to none.

Played this course in summer 2016. If you are in the region, do not miss the opportunity to play this fabulous course. If you enjoy fantastic sceneries, this is a first class site, which I would compare (for players with european references) with Old Head in Ireland or Thracian cliffs in Bulgaria, though obviously with moutains rather than sea in the backdrop.
Other than that, the layout itself is great, the service was impeccable. Can't figure out why this course is only 25th in the region, though I have only played Banff and Jasper there. Silvertip is definitely a course that is worth going out of your way for.
The latest ranking of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World serves as the ultimate global golf bucket list. Most members of our World Top 100 Panel are seasoned golfers, each playing 20-30 of these courses annually while travelling extensively over decades to form their opinions on others. We recognise that opinions vary—even among our panel members. Rankings are subjective, and there are undoubtedly 50 or more courses in the UK and USA alone that could easily fit onto this list.
