Sono Felice

The Daemyeong Resorts leisure company operates sixty-three holes of golf at three separate locations and all but eighteen of those holes are available for public play. Del Pino is located near Sokcho, in the far northeast of Gangwon-do, where an 18-hole course is available for pay and play golfers.

Here at the Vivaldi Park ski resort, located an hour’s drive north of the capital, in the shadow of Mount Palbongsan, there are twenty-seven holes (nine of which are public) in use at Vivaldi Park Country Club. Less than three kilometres to the north, Sono Felice Country Club is home to another 18-hole public layout.

Designed by Orange Engineering, Sono Felice is a mountain course that comprises two returning circuits, the Healing nine and the Eco nine. Highlights include the double doglegged 620-metre par five 3rd on the Healing loop and the right doglegged 514-metre 4th on the Eco nine, with water hazards featuring prominently at both these holes.
