Located just outside the lovely little town of Ross-on-Wye, the golf complex at South Herefordshire Golf Club occupies around 135 acres of what was previously prime rolling farmland, with the club operating an 18-hole layout, par three academy course and driving range, all of which opened for play in 1990.

It is located just outside of the beautiful tiny town of Ross-on-Wye The golf club is located at South Herefordshire Golf Club occupies approximately 135 acres of land that was once a prime agricultural land and the club has 18 holes of course, a par three academy course, and driving range. All of these were opened in 1990.

The course measures 6,530 yards from the back markers and with the par 71 mark (35 out, then 36 in) The course is designed as two nines returning with holes set towards the south of a dammed portion in the Rudhall Brook that supplies irrigation water to the grassy areas of the course.

The highlight holes include the long par five (rated by stroke index 1) The shorter of the par threes at 167 yards on the seventh (with four bunkers surrounding the green) as well as the slightly left-handed doglegging par five 15th that is out of bounds on the other side of the fairway which squeezes into the green.
