Speidel Golf Club at Oglebay (Palmer)

Speidel Golf Club operates two championship courses - the Jones and the Palmer. The Jones layout arrived first in 1969, followed three decades later by the shorter Palmer course.

The par 71 Palmer Course showcases Arnold Palmer's expert design, featuring six par-three holes, seven par-four holes, and five par-five holes. The course's versatility is evident in its flexible yardage, ranging from just over 4,000 yards at to 6,800 yards from the tips. Most will consider this layout the more playable of Oglebay's two designs.
