Review for St Margaret's

Reviewer Score:

I'm not into target golf, but if I was then I'd be happy to live and die by St Margaret's. I've recently played here and I keep thinking about it. There's loads of fun to be had on this course. And it's not hard. You shouldn't lose a ball, unless you sink it in a lake. The closing hole is a cracker. The approach shot over the water is thrilling, really. I'd certainly rate it higher if my head wasn't so easily turned by natural terrain and history. It's well looked after and a happy diversion if you're in Ireland taking on the lovely links, new and old. Nothing's out of place. It is what it is: a modern course, influenced by North America.
