St Vigil Seis

Situated at the foot of the Schlern massif in the heart of the Dolomites, the 18-hole course at Golfclub St.Vigil Seis is routed across a spectacular Alpine landscape, offering a mountain golf experience of the highest order.

Laid out as two returning nines, the course extends to 5,317 metres from the back tees, with par set at 69 (35 out then 34 in). Water hazards in the form of ditches and mountain streams come into play on several holes and there are four irrigation ponds to avoid in front of the tee and to the right of the fairway on the very first hole.

Highlights here include the left doglegging 3rd (the only par five on the outward half); the tough par four 6th (rated stroke index 1); the short par three 15th (with a drop of more than 100 metres from tee to green); and the par four closing hole which has fairway bunkers on the left and another large sand trap to the front left of the home green.

World Top 100 Golf Courses

The latest ranking of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World serves as the ultimate global golf bucket list. Most members of our World Top 100 Panel are seasoned golfers, each playing 20-30 of these courses annually while travelling extensively over decades to form their opinions on others. We recognise that opinions vary—even among our panel members. Rankings are subjective, and there are undoubtedly 50 or more courses in the UK and USA alone that could easily fit onto this list.
