Stippelberg (Championship)

The most flagrant gap in my Dutch top 40 resume, I was looking forward to play Stippelberg a lot.

This was such a surprise, recommended by another local from Eindhoven and i,m glad we played it

Its a mix of heathland , parkland and a whole load of water, The front 9 is distinctly Heathland, with the first being the weakest hole, after that there are some really long par 4,s and 3,s so take are which tee boxes you play from, after 9 a short par 4 over water, you cross the road around the clubhouse and proceed to play the back 9 halfway round a man made lake with is either in play or in view, some of the holes here were really tough with the 14th being a super long par three over water, overall this made for a lovely round of golf with very few dull holes, great greens and it flowed well.

Only 7 years old, but already high up on many 'must play' list of golf fanatics in the Netherlands (and Belgium).

I jumped in the car excited as always at the opportunity to hit the links on a workday.
