Located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Stonebridge Meadows Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf course with a notable secular history and distinctive design. The golf course occupies land with a significant past, previously serving as a Civil War hospital and later a thoroughbred horse farm. This historical foundation provides a unique backdrop to the contemporary golf facility.
Architect Randy Heckenkemper designed the course in 1997 that makes the most of the varied terrain and elevation changes. The USA spec bent grass greens and Bermuda tees and fairways ensure the course is presented well in challenging conditions.
The course integrates natural Ozark Mountain landscape features like curved valley formations, subtly contoured greens, and distinct pine and oak tree zones.
Stonebridge Meadows has hosted significant golf tournaments, including:
- U.S. Amateur Qualifier
- Nationwide Qualifier
- Arkansas State Match Play Championship
- 2012 U.S. Public Links Qualifier
