The entire course really plays with the dramatic landscape, perched way up high with the Atlantic stretching out as far as you can see from pretty much every tee box.

Tazegzout, just outside Agadir, is quite rightly ranked as one of Morocco’s finest golf courses and alongside Assoufid near Marrakech is the bench-mark for top golf courses to aspire to in the southern part of the country.

Confusingly entitled “Tazegzout,” because Taghazout Bay is the name of the massive resort that it’s located in, the course lies to the north of Agadir on the Atlantic coast and it’s one I’ve had an eye on for a while.

The latest ranking of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World serves as the ultimate global golf bucket list. Most members of our World Top 100 Panel are seasoned golfers, each playing 20-30 of these courses annually while travelling extensively over decades to form their opinions on others. We recognise that opinions vary—even among our panel members. Rankings are subjective, and there are undoubtedly 50 or more courses in the UK and USA alone that could easily fit onto this list.
