Telford

Telford Development Corporation established the golf course at Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in the late 1970s The club became an enterprise owned by a private company in the year 1980. The property has been sold numerous times since but now it is owned by Q Hotels as the latest owner. The company manages the resort with the original structures that are parts of the complex hotel.

It is located on approximately 125 acres, the course spans 6,741 yards overall with 72 holes which is played as two nine-hole circuits. There are some tiny lakes scattered throughout the course and water is a problem especially on the right doglegging hole 4-8th, which has the pond is directly to the right of the course.

The highlights include: the Par 3 3rd (with bunkers around the green) The difficult, right-hand doglegging par nineth (rated by stroke index 1) The short 16th par 4 (where another pond is on the right side of the fairway when it curves toward the green) and the par four 18th, which has an inland green that has a bunker long enough to protect from the left side of the green's putting surface.
