The Links at Northfork

The Links at Northfork is a Scottish links-style golf course located in Ramsey, Minnesota, in the northwest metropolitan area of the Twin Cities. The course was designed by Joel Goldstrand and opened in 1992, making it one of Minnesota's few genuine links-style layouts in an inland setting. The 18-hole, par-72 championship course features bentgrass tees, fairways, and greens throughout, providing consistent playing surfaces across all four sets of tee boxes.

The course is characterized by features typical of links-style design, including pot bunkers, waste bunkers, mounding, water hazards, and wind-exposed holes where conditions can change dramatically between shots. Notable holes include the par-3 7th, which offers two separate greens divided by a large pond, and the par-4 15th, considered the most difficult hole on the course. The course plays to a maximum yardage of 6,989 yards from the back tees.

The Links at Northfork has hosted several notable competitive events, including a US Open qualifier, a Senior PGA 3M Championship qualifier, and multiple Minnesota Golf Association tournaments. In 1996, Steve Veriato set the course record during the Senior PGA Coldwell Banker qualifier with an 11-under-par 61. The course has received a 4-star rating from Golf Digest. Practice facilities include an all-grass driving range, two putting greens, a chipping green, a practice sand bunker, and a three-hole practice loop.
