They say a copy of an original is never as good but I would argue that The Tribute comes as close as you can get to the great golf courses it mimics. Each hole is based on famous Scottish holes which is some feat given the course resides in the heart of North Texas.
Too often courses are ranked highly due to their toughness and guarding of par but for the Tribute, the key is fun. You can kinda see the Scottish holes in the Texas countryside and the course is very playable meaning you can really have a go at some classic holes.
This is the course that made me want to take up the game again and if its faux Scottish holes can do that for me, I bet you will find a lot of enjoyment out of them as well. Truly a must-play amongst the public tracks of Dallas!
