Players will immediately becomes aware of the heroic dimension Robert Trent Jones II will ask of them at Tiffany Greens Golf Club, a daily fee course north of Kansas City. The risk-reward par five will require a forced carry across a fairway inlet, and the next three holes will also carry the creek at some point or another. Although the adrenaline slows down a bit from there (at least in terms of avoiding watery graves), playing from “The Tiffs” (as they call the back tees at this venue) will surpass 7,000 yards.
The club hosted Champions Tour TD Ameritrade Championship shortly after it opened. Be sure to stock up on snacks before you head out; this is a traditional 18-hole loop that does not return to the clubhouse at the turn.
Fun golf course, especially if you have a tendency to miss right. All but 2 holes out there allow for those right misses. It is very close to the KC airport, so you are greeted with airplanes flying overhead every 5-10 minutes it seems. Overall a good course for the KC area, especially if you live in North KC.
