Tokoroa

Situated 9 kilometres south of Tokoroa, the course at Tokoroa Golf Club occupies an area of around 125 acres, with holes arranged as two returning nines. From the back tees, the layout extends to just over 5,600 metres, with par set at 72 (37 out then 35 in).

Highlight holes include the left doglegging par four 3rd (rated stroke index 3); the par three 5th (the only short hole on the outward half); the par five 10th (with out of bounds left of the fairway); and the final three holes which are set out in a triangle north of the clubhouse.

Three editions of the Forest Products Tournament on the New Zealand professional golf circuit were staged at Tokoroa Golf Club between 1964 and 1966. Bob Charles and Tony Jacklin tied the first event, with Kel Nagle and Peter Thomson winning the other two.
